Prominent local developers will discuss their approach to downtown development now and into the future.  They will answer questions about current and proposed infill, redevelopment, and renovation projects in the downtown area, related, and not related to the Arena project.

Kipp Blewett is a principal partner and co-founder of Rubicon Partners, Inc. and serves as CFO of the company.  Prior to co-founding the firm, Kipp served as a Corporate Officer and Vice President for the Sacramento Region of Spieker Properties, Inc.  While at Spieker Properties Kipp was responsible for the development, acquisition and management of more than 1.5 million square feet of office and industrial property in the Sacramento metropolitan area. Kipp has had renowned success with the renovation of the Citizen Hotel on J and The Forum Building at 9^th and K.

John Leonard founded Leonard Development Company realizing a need for fee development services.  Prior to founding Leonard Development Company, John worked for Buzz Oates real estate brokerage firm for nearly 25 years specializing in retail, commercial, office, and industrial properties. John and Leonard Development Company have successfully completed numerous high profile development projects including the mixed use residential and retail Fremont Building at 16^th and P and “The Fruit” Building renovation at 4^th and J.
