The Richmond Ford Assembly
Plant Infrastructure Tour
November 20, 2014
We braved a rainy, stormy day and brought our umbrellas to a fascinating tour of the Richmond Ford Assembly Plant. This 500,000+ square foot facility had a lot of history you could feel while walking through the building. Not to mention Rosie the Riveter and the Rosie the Riveter Museum at the site. A good time was had by all. After the tour we were privileged to shop in the Mountain Hard Wear employee store where several members received a huge discount on outerwear, boots and …. This was a fun tour. More information: Ford Assembly Plant history link, Rosie the Riveter Museum, more photos link.
