What legislation will potentially impact our industry in 2017? Split Roll Tax? CEQA reform? New transfer fees? These topics and others will be on our radar at the April 6 meeting of the Sacramento District. Join us for a 2017 Legislative Update with Rex Hime of CBPA.

Rex is President and CEO of the California Business Properties Association (CBPA). Representing more than 10,000, CBPA is the designated legislative advocate for ICSC,  NAIOP, BOMA CAL, IREM, ACRE of Northern and Southern California, the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), the California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED), and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT).

Rex helped to create the coalition that has stopped the threat of split roll tax several times and provided leadership to a coalition of the business and disabled communities to achieve passage of landmark legislation reforming and redefining the accessibility laws of California.
